Week in the life - Saturday

So this is the only day left, Sunday. Can´t believe it´s almost over. And I who don´t have a clue what to do now. I jump on this project so sudden and had no ideas about putting the whole thing together. And all week I´ve been so caught up in taking pictures and really haven´t given any thoughts as to how to scrap this whole adventure. so that will be interesting. Maybe it will solve itself when I´ve gotten the pictures developed.

Here´s my photos from Saturday.

I´d been out shopping.

Where you turn off the main road up to our house.

My boy beeing Link (from the Zelda game)

The high-pressure cleaner my DH uses to clean the house. I didn´t get any photo of him actually doing it.

My girl really loves our new cat. We picked him up when we had just left her and her sister on the train to go to their sister´s, so they first meet him when they came home on Wednesday.

The redcurrant cake. Good!

More cerries. We´ve really gotten a lot of cerries this year.

Another cake, even more after my own liking.

I´d better go get myself and everything ready for church. Bye!

Week in the life - Friday

Five days down and just two to go, I never thought it would go so fast!Today I hope I will get some of those "going-to-the-shop" photos I forgot Thursday... Anyway, here´s my Friday photos.

My two youngest watching TV in the morning. Summer break is still here for a couple of weeks.

My DH working by the computer.

Folded laudry... I alway emuse myself by listening to a CD-book while I do this kind of things...

...or watch a movie on the old TV I have in my craft room/guest room. This is my retreat, where I can be alone when the whole house is full of people. I love it.

My youngest daughter took a walk and found a big branch of redcurrant just lying by the road! So she took it home, riped of the berries and we will make a lovely cake with them today. Mmmm...

The big son mowing the lawn in all the strange places, like under the staging. We´ve put a new roof on the house and are now cleaning the house and there will be some paiting too and then we can take it down.

                                         The older daughter making lunch.

The little one with his beloved Lego. This time it became a gun.
My chilis are thriving. I think I will make powder of them this year.

Well, off to my new day!

Week in the life - Thursday

Most of my photos for this day was about the cats hunting, he brought several mice into the house, dead and alive!

                                                            On my kitchenfloor... Nice.

The poor little thing hid under the piano, befor we took it outside.

                                        A couple of other photos.

I took the youngest daughter to the dentist. BUT I forgot to take pictures both at the gas station and the supermarket, really irritating, since that is two places I go to a lot. Hm.

I did a layout too, about how my youngest daughter called her oldest sister "mommy" when she was little. My big girl, who was 16 when her sister was born, took so much care of the little one that she thought she had two mummys. And when Sarah said "my name is Sarah!", the little one said "mummy!!" So cute.

Week in the life - wednesday

Ali said we must take selfportraits,so ok then... And I thought that since my poor family so often has to see me wearing my white towel on my hair after washing it I just had to take a photo of me like that, and here is one of the many I took trying to get a desent on!

And here´s the rest for wednesday.

Reading the scriptures in the morning.

Lovely mail...

The daughters came home after spending two weeks with one of their older sisters and her family.

                                                         Fixing my DH´s feet.

And while I was doing that, Kit-Kat showed his true male nature getting control over the remote control!! This piture actually is a faked one. He did put his paw on the control, but the camera wasn´t there and when it had been fetched he had changed his position, so we staged it. You´re allowed to do that, right? It was such a funny thing I just had to have a photo of that.

It was such a lovely evening, and everyone was home again, so I thought it would be nice to eat outside. We ate woffles and I made them right there: Nice. The yougest daughter took the photos, that´s why she´s not in the pictures.

She snapped one of ther little brother playing too.

Well, that was all that got taken yesterday.

Week in the life - tuesday

                        Here´s the photos from yesterday.

The cat´s first catch. As far as we know anyway. Good kitty!

This day´s eggs from our chickens.

Playing Zelda. Great fun but difficult.

The big son´s helping with the lucnch. This was all I was allowed to snap of him this day.

When I went away for one minute, the cat stole my chair. This is his favorite place, on the chair by the computer. Just before I went to help the Zelda player with some translating from english to swedish, he cecided he should lie down right on the dictionary that I had beside the computer... I´m really sad I didn´t get a photo of that.

                                              A bucket full of weeding...

                                           The husband working outside too.

His first time washing our home grown potatoes.

                                    Goodbye tuesday - hello wednesday!

Week in the life - monday

I don´t like living my life behind the camera and I know pretty well what I want to document, so I don´t take much photos. I don´t need photos of everything to tell the story either. So i`m a little different there. But here´s a few photos from yesterday.

Two layouts I worked on, both about my oldest son as a child.

Checking out my favorite blogs, here´s Shimelle´s.
Freshly picked rasperries pick by the son. Mmm...
I put some new cuttings in pots. To the left myrtle, which I got from the daughter when we visited last week. It´s from the plant she bought to use for her wreath at her wedding. To the right is two geraniums.

Well, off to living thusday!
